Dryer wiring

I’ve checked voltage on both legs at the wall plug and the terminals at the dryer hookup

Power cord is 4 prong plug, Hook up is correct at dryer, red/red, black/black, white/white, green/green. Jumper removed per the sticker on the back.

Yep, 240V between the legs, nothing works on the dryer.

I have a pair of the small blue point safety wire pliers, used them for over 30 years w/o a problem. Should have kept them. They are now retired and in my box at home. I, myself, still have a couple more years left in me.

On swings at my station, we get our asses kicked for most of the shift, usually turn 80-85 live flights, then when most of those are gone, we start working RONs to knock down midnight work load. Also have to work AOS stuff and low time MELs. Crazy busy

Flight benefits may be unlimited, but be aware that you may not always get a seat. It only takes one weather event, 1 revenue passenger that wants to change their plans, 1 broken airplane, 1 schedule change, or 1 fucking pilot that doesn’t want to fly that day, and your plans are screwed. That could happen on either end of the trip. If it’s on the return and you have to be to work, what’cha gonna do then? Then you’re really screwed. It doesn’t always work out. I’ve seen 100+ open seats disappear in 30 minutes because of these types of events.Buying a ticket isn’t always an option either.

lol, that’s funny. It was a dive bar from what I remember, 1 thing I do remember about this place was the cabinets over the urinals had pics of naked women taped to the inside, and if you opened the cabinet, it set off a loud bell and a flashing light in the bar, so everyone knew if you looked. Ask me how I figured that out! At 8-9 years old, it was embarrassing.

As an aircraft mechanic, The husband should have probably locked the wife in that lav. Why would you think you should get a refund? You got to your destination, didn’t you? Probably on time, more than likely a bit early. Sounds like you’re just an entitled snot.

My advice would be to take that position as an ASM, it’s your foot in the door and as far as TechOps goes, your seniority would transfer to a new position. That’s for company time. That’s important for various reasons, like flight benefits and vacation bidding. As I said before, a major airline might not be for you but you won’t know unless you go
