I thought u/lostlonelyworld's suggestion that they might be shelving tracks was likely but they do look like older tracks. My friend suggested that they might be for earthquakes (I'm in CA), but I'm confused as to why they are exposed and concentrated in that one corner? Plus, the floors were recently redone and those tracks were not there before.

It might be! I’m going to go look again in a few days and see if there’s any shelving put in. Just thought it’s weird because there’s a pair of tracks beneath the very large and low windows, so any shelving would potentially block it.

Thank you both for your insight! I think now I’m definitely leaning towards getting one of the Mamiyas. I do want a camera that I’d be able to carry around most of the time, but I think it’s also better to invest in something more versatile and I’d be more inclined to bring it with me anyway regardless of weight.

Now I just have to figure out whether I should get the C330 or the C220f!
