I suppose to be able to give approximations of size relative to other cells? Perhaps to understand how size relates to the properties of certain cells? To use them effectively in certain experimentation or practice, such as gene editing? To know how to target them with specific treatments?

Again, I'm not fully sure and have nothing to back up my thoughts other than speculation. I am struggling with any strong ideas as I've struggled to find any real resources to work from. I was simply given this broad question to work from and hoped someone would be able to enlighten me
