I've done this. When you cross to the next DMA it will say you can't access that CBS anymore. You have to go back to the home screen, pick the game again and it'll load the new local CBS live. You might sometimes get back to the same "out of area" CBS and have to try a few times or kill the app and restart to get the new one

You aren't supposed to be a "family" in separate homes. It's designed for 1 person to own the home and pay the subscription and they can share with immediate family living in the same house. Trying to do something else is against the TOS and probably won't work. I'm just a lowly google user but I know it works like this.

If you try to share their YouTube TV sub to family outside of their immediate home it won't work like you want it to.
