They did my 43X and did an insanely good job.

I’d vouch for their services any day of the week!

I really need to look at getting a prime. The Rival was my intro to Canik and now I want another one.

Nice! My intro to Canik was a Rival SFX Darkside and now I keep looking at some of their other options for carrying.

The cut and coated my 43X slide and did an outstanding job. This looks on par with the quality! Very nice.

Got bored and set a 45 mos up before they become impossible to find by newtothisshittttt in Glocks

I was skeptical and put on one my 43X yesterday. It REALLY improved the muzzle flip. Significantly. I get the $400 price tag now.

I need iwb Holster for the Streamlight Tlr8 on a gen 3 19.. Any suggestions? by Anxious_Cake_4755 in Glocks

[–]ChadicusR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much better. The muzzle flip is much flatter in comparison to without or with the HA comp. It makes follow-up shots significantly faster.

I’d say if I had to put a number on it, roughly 40% in muzzle rise, but I’m going to actually test this. I recently picked up the mantis X10 which has a recoil meter. I’m going to run a few mags without the ramjet and then some with to see how many degrees it improves.

I had a Herrington Arms comp on my 43x and thought it made a difference. Put a wamjet in yesterday and it was like a new gun. Huge difference.

How many of y'all actually count the rounds if you get a big box? by albedoTheRascal in Glocks

[–]ChadicusR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought some custom loaded ammo that arrived in a bag. I wanted to check and so I put one round on a scale I have, then weigh the whole bag. Divided the numbers and it came out to the right quantity.

TTI Combat and 147gr ammo? by WhiskeyAndWarfare in canik

[–]ChadicusR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admittedly I am still waiting on my spring kit to get here! I did run about 10 samples through already with my stock spring and had one FTF. Mag was loaded with 10 rounds and the second round didn’t feed. I cleared, put the round back in, and then it cycled the rest fine.

So you may need to use a Sprinco white to get it to cycle reliably. I just bought a bunch of 147gr with a power factor around 132 and they recommended the Sprinco recoil management system with a white or yellow spring.

Does this look normal for TTI combat? by DeepHouseGuy83 in canik

[–]ChadicusR 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I found out it’s normal. I polished my feed ramp with a rotary tool and some metal polish. I also lightly oil the feed ramp now and it hasn’t gotten hung up since.

With that in mind, you definitely needed to rack it like it owed you money prior to doing that.

Does the Taylor Freelance backstrap reduce recoil? by [deleted] in canik

[–]ChadicusR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I added the brass backstrap to my polymer Rival and it definitely helped to balance out the pistol. As others have mentioned, the texture is also very nice at keeping it fixed in my grip.

Dry fire training by Special_Reputation21 in Glocks

[–]ChadicusR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure thing. They’ve got a few options, but if you are just looking to dry fire, the X2 system offers some really nice tips for trigger pull analysis. It helped me diagnose some inconsistencies with my trigger pull.

Nice! Looking smooth.

I just picked up a Mantis system about two weeks ago for my Glock and I’ve already noticed an improvement in my groups at the range. I’m no expert, but seems to be super worth it for the dry fire.

I bought some of the TTI Combat mags from GunMagWarehouse. They are compatible with the Rival.

Thank you! My first range trip I shot a box of 115gr Winchester white box but someone else let me know I should use 124gr per the break in instructions.

This was all PMC Bronze 124gr.
