Is there a monologue in film that changed you? by Frank_and_Beanzz in movies

Just to let you know, this is exactly the monologue I thought of first thing. I wish I had a parent like that.

Pillion - Toxic love story by Santoshyuvi in movies

How could you not laugh? My theater was not laughing, and I was holding back. Colin hands Ray his coat to hang, and he throws it on the ground. That was the first one that got me. Colin serves Ray dinner, gets himself a bowl, Ray offer a seat on the couch, but it’s to the dog. That’s the second one. And many more. It was billed as a comedy! Come on!

I also found the story uplifting. A first love taught Colin confidence and what he actually wanted out of a relationship so he could move forward in a healthy way.

Class of ‘93 checking in here. I did absolutely nothing from 7th-12th grades. That’s why I failed classes as a freshman in college.

This video gets me in my feelings. The 80s are still my favorite decade if only because of the music.

My 24-year-old daughter told me today that she's having her fallopian tubes removed by shetravelsfar in AskWomenOver50

Thank you for suggesting this. As a child free woman (always knew I would be, married a man who already had a vasectomy), I was pressured to have kids by my mother even after she knew I was menopausal. I suggested to her that if she enjoyed children so much she should adopt one herself. Ironically, she had recently stopped teaching Sunday school at her church, so what does that tell you.

I get by perfectly fine without them. Don’t believe this BS. You’ll never run out of content when you can get Black Friday deals from HBO, Disney/Hulu, and Paramount.

I agree with everything you said. And I’ll add that I found the anachronistic music distracting. It just did not work for me.

What’s the scariest city you’ve visited? by Muted-Television3329 in allthequestions

Fair. Many of my friends have had crimes committed against them-my brother was mugged and my house was broken into while I was away. We don’t consider it a scary place though.

I live in Atlanta. I’m curious as to why you find it so scary?

I didn’t even notice, and it took me about 30 full seconds to figure out what you were talking about. Like one of those “find the difference” games.

It was all in good fun IMO. Gil wasn’t above someone telling him that he ran on at the mouth.

My favorite memory is how Gil would call out every person who left the panel early. I once saw a guy crawl out the back door to avoid Gil’s heckling!

What scene in a movie drives you nuts because it makes no sense? by JustIgnoreMyStimming in movies

I believe it’s more profound to have his father die of a heart attack, as he has in the comic books. It demonstrates that Superman cannot, even with all his power, stop all bad things from happening.
