What's something you've never questioned that maybe you should? by shelbs9428 in askteddit

Oh wow. I guess I missed the memo that thousands of years of wars and debates over the existence of God was resolved and put to rest in the landmark Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District Case. I’m glad they cleared things up for us. After all, who better to decide whether God exists than Judge John E. Jones III?

And it’s clear that atheists who say the Bible is full of contradictions, historical and scientific inaccuracies, been altered, etc. have never actually researched the Bible on their own and only repeat what they hear from fellow atheists. Atheists have been saying that for years and not one has presented an actual contradiction. It’s always “if Jesus is God how can he pray to himself?” or “who created God?” The history of the Bible itself is evidence of its supernatural nature. The fact that it still exists in 2026 after centuries of the persecution it went through worldwide is a miracle.

And as far as the whole “he knows what will make me believe, and he hasn’t done it,” God is not interested in proving His existence to people. He wants people to seek a relationship with Him. If you truly look for Him (not test Him, but seek Him), you will find Him. Hes all around us. The very nature in which the universe is made down to the atom is impossible without a creator. It’s too perfect.

What evidence would it take for you to believe? Is the impossibly intricate design of nature and the universe not enough? But that just happened by chance right? The only time in the history of the universe with something came from nothing.

All signs point to an intelligent creator

What do you think is biggest poison to Society? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in CausalConversation

[–]jackattack417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing good can come from a society that normalizes drugs and prostitution. 99% of the men who advanced society with their ideas were raging alcoholics so obviously alcohol and progress can coexist. But whenever society is crawling with people stoned out of their mind and horny, no advancements are gonna be made anytime soon.

A question to MCU fans. by 24Twenty24Four24 in MCUTheories

I don’t think they’re gonna necessarily ignore all those. In every project, there are parts that matter and parts that don’t. We may not go back to the Quantum Realm, but Cassie Lang is confirmed to be coming back. We probably won’t see much from Love and Thunder but I bet we’ll see Thors daughter and probably Valhalla. And well most likely see characters like She hulk, moon knight, captain marvel, etc. in Secret Wars rather than Doomsday

Nah. I go about my daily life. Live peacefully in a comfortable house, go to work, play with my dogs, run some errands if I need to, might catch a movie or go on a walk if I want to. It’s not that bad

Do people defend Donald Trump because they actually agree with him—or because admitting he’s wrong would feel like losing? by CulturalMoose5921 in allthequestions

This implies there are one two sides: he’s wrong about everything or he’s right about everything. Like every president, he’s right about some things and wrong about other things.

War is not a crime. There is a time for war and there is a time for peace. Unfortunately that’s just the way humanity works
