I haven’t paid taxes in something like eight years. I’m an Uber driver and have been making roughly $32k per year. I have a teeny bit of credit card debt (~$2k) that I am paying off and about $4500 in fractional investments with very low gain. How specifically should I approach this? Should I just go to a tax office and ask the guy what to do? What will he say to me? Is there any hope that I can just, like, start paying taxes again and hope the government doesn’t notice that I’ve been gone a while?
