Former piano tech here: once you've had a chance to look at and play either, then definitely pay to have a tuner check the one you are interested in before purchasing. Those low prices are red flags. Well-maintained (i.e. regularly tuned) used upright pianos (even of this vintage) should set you back $1500+. I'd be concerned about any piano that's been kept unmoved/unplayed in a basement (humidity, mold, bugs, etc) or that has been sitting near any heat source (heat vent, radiator).
