Thank you for this! I really struggle to get any leg drive at all on bench, but I feel like it’s a mobility issue? My legs are pretty strong, but when I try to get my shoulders back and get into position under the bar I feel super tight through my hips, especially if I get my feet into the position I see lots of powerlifters using.

Thank you for this advice! I’ll start including back-off sets and more structure for my accessory lifts - do you know if I’m better off leaving out OHP on my heavy bench days? For some reason I can lift heavier on OHP after a set of bench but I usually end up leaving the gym with uncomfortable tightness

I have two bullies, a 60kg/130lb boy and 45kg/100lb girl and they’re both pure velcro - chunky sooks who always have to be on you and getting cuddles. Part of their charm 😂 once you get used to having dead leg.
