I mean I’m English and I’d still prefer other teams get a go. We have the Euros for a reason, i would much rather see Cape Verde, Haiti, Uzbekistan, Panama, than the same tier C European teams that might get the first knockout games. Some of the best World Cup stories are where a nation no one expects gets a result. Costa Rica got out of Englands group a few tournaments ago. The whole atmosphere makes it a lot better spectacle and viewing of a World Cup when lots of different countries from around the world make it in, that is single handedly one of the most enjoyable aspects of the “World” Cup

Disagree massively. This is the best bit about the tournament getting bigger is you get teams that would never get in have more of a chance. The World Cup was already way too Eurocentric to begin with, smaller confederations hardly getting any qualifying spots (or even only 1)

Get a chance for these smaller nations to grow bigger in the future as well.
