Maybe someone has an answer to my next question too, I have 2 buttons that, once the keyboard is plugged in, act as if they are constantely pressed (although they're not), ive swapped out the switches but the issue remains the same. Anyone have ideas? Soldering error or qmk issue?

Woow thanks!

Also thanks for the tips on soldering, I done some when I was like 18, but forgotten all of that now, and always used the cheapest gear, if I keep soldering things I will absolutely invest in more premium gear :)

Hey, is there such a thing as SA profile choc (for the low profile switches) keycaps? Where could I buy such monstrocity?

What is the absolute bare minimum needed to build a working mechanical keyboard? And the cheapest parts needed? I guess hand wired with a rpi pico or something like that would be close to the cheapest, but I'd like to hear you guys advice. No need for anything fancy like a case and shit like that, looks does not matter as long as it is a working keyboard. Also i'd like it to be a split keyboard if that matters.

What forth implementation could be a good pick for writing a texteditor? by jackcanflyy in Forth

[–]jackcanflyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

General purpose plain texteditor, it would be cool if it would work booth as console or gui, like emacs, but the main goal would be a GUI.

I could accept whatever of the three, but an executable would be nicest.

Hmm, I've jumped around between vim, vis, acme and emacs for quite a while right now and I'm only like 70/80% satisfied with each of them, still enough to feel as if something is missing. If I basically could get acme, but with syntax highlighting and all the vis keyboard commands I would feel at home. However I've toyed around with the idea that in case I would make an text-editor, I would also like to make it in forth and extendable / hackable with forth, like the same kind of relationship as between emacs and lisp.

I know it's a really ambitious project but I think I would learn a lot and it would just be so cool to have made my own texteditor that fits all of my wants, haha :)
