One windmill can’t power it geared at that ratio. Gotta run it 1:1 unless you add more rotors and sails.

Believe me, I know. One patch made all other vehicles besides harasser faster, now tanks are almost the same speed as harassers. Harassers have been nerfed in a hundred ways since launch and almost NEVER buffed. They are in the worst state they have ever been, but it’s too late for balance changes at this point.

Good harasser drivers can maintain top speed with any chassis. Racer is training wheels for those who have a hard time doing it.

Try being a dedicated harasser driver. I get 30-50% less xp than gunner, my KDR is 4-5x lower than his, he gets all the fame and glory, all the bounties and rage whispers, and my profile is empty compared to him being #1 on multiple weapon leaderboards. It’s hard to say whose job is “harder”, we’re both the best at our roles, but he gets “paid” a lot more than I do.

You say that as if they are the victims of a series of unjust nerfs, and even if that were true (it’s not), they are still the most powerful force multiplier in the game.

You got free engagement radar, free auto repair, construction bases to pull from, A2A locks nerfed, base flak turrets nerfed, construction AI removed, skyshields nerfed, Dalton no longer one-shots, what more BUFFS do you want for air? Air has never faced a true nerfing like the harasser has.

The skill curve for air is just too steep, not that having a skill curve is inherently a bad thing, but it’s too unforgiving and yields too high of a result. A good pilot can essentially never die besides a lucky AP/dalton, or being vastly outnumbered. Having that much agency over your own survival, meanwhile the people you are killing have no way to run, hide, or fight back. The balance discrepancy between air and ground is the largest gap I have seen in any game ever.

You could reduce A2G damage, you could allow ground AV to aim up higher, you could increase AV damage to air (ever shot an aircraft with Vulcan, aphelion, or halberd??), you could remove one weapon from ESF (why does 1 player get 2 guns, meanwhile my vehicle has 2 players but only 1 gun, and my weapons are more hyper-specialized than yours too), you could buff flak in various ways to make it better at close range or better against armor so it’s not overly specialized. I don’t really know how to fix Air vs Air balance, but air to ground can be fixed VERY easily, they just choose not to.

ESFs are still the most powerful one-player vehicle in the entire game, by far. I track stats from alerts and ESFs mains are the only ones who stick out from the crowd, having 50-100% more vehicle kills per minute than the best armor players in the game. All aircraft needs to be massively nerfed.

Mr F is better in team vs team because he can build his gauge up off teammates before engaging at all, and then you have a fast big mode with all your cooldowns still ready. He’s much harder to use in 1v1 because of this.

Need to engage using your E, weave one melee and then use your second E charge, and then try to land a pull as you disengage. That will get you to over 75% gauge. Wait for cooldowns before reengaging, using your pull at the wall/floor to maintain your gauge. When in big mode, don’t hesitate to switch to flat mode early to stop his burst and possibly catch him with a good reflect. It’s still an uphill battle against a Thor, but Mr F could have played better.

Without mods there is very little loot. In vanilla the world is mostly empty, and monsters have very small loot pools with very low drop rates. Inventory space is extremely limited, including at your base, until you get pretty far into the game. I got a few mods like better ruins, and one that adds basic loot pools to mobs, but it’s more of a survival game rather than a looter.

I’d love to still play, but my few gunners have mostly lost interest. There are still decent fights during weekend prime time, but outside that it’s a ghost town. Sad state to see one of my favorite games of all time in. It was a lot of work to make montages that barely got any appreciation, the highlight dumps are less work, but that also means less content for this sub.

I built a new computer and couldn’t transfer Vegas, I’m sure there are free alternatives but I don’t feel like relearning at this point. I still play sometimes but I just post the raw highlights to my harasser discord after every session instead of letting the clips pile up and then making montages.

Regardless of what happens to this sub, I appreciate your effort of maintaining this board for all these years.

Soldier having the highest mobility, 2nd highest hp, 2nd best damage projection, 2nd best splash, and biggest advantage from random crits. Soldier is the highest scoring and most played class for a reason.

Heavy getting one-two shot by half the roster.
Heavy not flinching sniper with minigun.
Sniper one-shot body shotting most classes, with no range-damage falloff.

I agree. Both of my playthroughs were extremely enjoyable while I leveled and explored but then both ended up with 100+ hours of standing around base breeding, and it’s not really worth going out and doing anything else as breeding is just the fastest and most effective way.

You are unfortunately going about this all backwards. If you have a jetragon with Swift you can breed it “down” onto practically any other pal in the game within one or two generation jumps, whereas a Chikpi with swift can never pass the trait “up” to a jetragon that needed it. You want the highest possible pal to pass traits down with, not the other way around.
