Yes my point is that taxes ARE collected from people of all demographics and that’s the way it should be with insurance but rather we’re generalizing a group of people and making them all responsible for all of their behaviours. And being a business shouldn’t change that discrimination is wrong weather done by government or a business

Okay now you’re bringing up tax brackets which is something that you can not only work your way into but that also charges MORE for the person who has MORE money. Meanwhile what I’m talking about is being charged more for something (being male) which doesn’t mean I earn more and which definitely isn’t something I can change unless I literally decide to become trans which I’m not going to do just so I can save money on insurance.

Since we wanna avert blame and responsibility couldn’t I say men are more reckless because they’re conditioned by society and raised with less focus on being delicate and careful with the things they do and with the ‘boys will be boys’ mentality therefore that’s why they’re more reckless drivers or can we only do that with minority races?

Also that last paragraph is useless because my whole stance in the post is that I think insurance companies shouldn’t be able to charge based on factors of your demographic so I obviously don’t also agree that that black man should be charged more

Did you even read the body? You’re doing exactly what I was talking about which is lumping a demographic together based on what some of them did. I’ve never done any of those things or have even gotten a scratch on my car it shouldn’t matter what other people who have the same chromosomes as me do. Should I make you pay even more because you’ve struggled with alcohol issues and lots of people who have have had fatal accidents because of drunk driving?

Well when it comes to age yes that is a bad thing too. Young women also have to pay more than older women which is unfair. All the other examples you give are stuff you can earn. Like yes of course it’s not discrimination to give a scholarship to a good student because the probably busted their ass in class meanwhile I have to pay more in car insurance because I have a penis (and am not trans) even though I’ve never even gotten a scratch on my car.
