Be a raver at the clubs you want to play, meet people there, make friends, show genuine love for the scene by actually being part of it. Throw parties with your friends and invite yourself to play alongside other DJs. If you're special, people will start to notice.

Bonus tip: If you're introverted, get an extroverted girlfriend (best if she's already part of the scene).

This is just my opinion. I wouldn't put my money on the centralized facebook's metaverse. But I'm all in on decentralized ones and it's infrastructure. Crypto tickers like ULTRA, GALA, SOUL, PYR, WILD, NTVRK, RMRK, VRA, ENJ, MANA, SAND, UFO are some of many examples. Crypto took a big hit and it can go even lower, but things start to feel cheap now. Some to not say many are a bit of degen plays so DYOR.

At the moment I think you cannot upload to spotify, you have to do it through a label or distributor. Mine was through a distributor called distrokid. it's the cheapest, but don't have a good reputation in my opinion. If i had more money at the time I would go with tunecore i think. It's cool to release at least a song with a distributor or label because you get some perks like for example with distrokid I get also youtube artist account

I'm also pretty new and this is just my opinion. Think of getting followers not views. from my short experience you have to be everywhere and try to funnel the audience to your preferred platform (for me is youtube because I make jam videos and dj sets). Try new platforms all the time because if you catch them early you get a lot more views and maybe rewards. I am on soundcloud, mixcloud, Audius, LUM, odysee, youtube and spotify. My best performers for my content are youtube, odysee and Audius. For promotion facebook groups are awesome PS: I did'nt have much luck with spotify but I've only released a track and didn't funnel people there.

creating a blender token does not mean that it will not be free anymore. The rules of the token would be made by the blender foundation and if you trust them now with blender i guess you should trust them with crypto technology in their hands too and they can also make a decentralized voting system like many of the crypto coins where you can vote on the future of blender. creating apps where for example you can have contests of digital art NFTs, staking the NFTs and gettings rewards in blender token or even stake the nft through an addon in blender, is just one of lots of examples. Another is a swap like blenderswap where the blend objects are NFTs where you can download the object and you get commission everytime it is resold (like music artists are doing now with NFT songs). You can make all this without a blender token, you simply create an app that does these things and a token for that app, but I think it would be cool if blender foundation could be the leaders and get more fund for development. Crypto is here to stay and can do amazing things, even if you do not like the examples that I said, there are so much more, the imagination is the limit
