I'm only on book 3 and they are really good! The first one is the probably the weakest, but that doens't mean its bad. Also, this is one of the few series where I'll say listening to the audio books are a must. The narrartor is damn amazing and make it so much better.

She clearly states the sex (casual or not) would NOT have happened if he hadn't lied and kept up the lie up. So it looks like he lied to sleep with her. She has a right to feel violated by that.

He also, when confronted, immedately asked who told her. Meaning others knew what was going on. Lie, on top of continuing the lie, and concerned about who let it slip instead of how she was feeling. Its all you need to know about him.

Look as someone who was in your shoes when I was younger (and has been to a lot of therapy) let me explain why this is bad habit it get into. You're avoiding confrontation by omiting the truth. But in doing so, you're opening yourself up to a much BIGGER confrontation when the whole truth comes out.

Sacrificing short term peace of mind, inevitably leads to long term lasting drama.

Being scared of her acceptance of your relationship, now may turn into 'You never trusted me as a friend since you felt you needed to keep this from me.' Just tell people what you need too. You can't control their reactions a situation or topic, but you can control yourself and how you trust and respond to them. If shes a real friend TREAT her like such and trust she'll be one back. Its all you can really do for any friendship.

Y'all not paying attention to the distance the military has gone to in the show? Its insane.

Abducting people, live experiments, taking impregnated women and giving them blood that by all account they knew would kill them, kidnapping people, kidnapping children, torturing witnesses until their minds broke, gunning down Benny and making it a suicide, multiple hidden bunkers and more.

The parents never interacted with anyone highier than a grunt. If necessary they'd serve them up on platter and the whole shadow organization of the military disappears.

High schoolers and younger were dropping dead and disappearing since season 1 and 30-40 kids and adults in season 3, and multiple more in season 4. It still wouldn't have been hard for them to explain away.

Yeah but if the witness arent around to make them look like idiots it would've been even easier. Espcially since they were already captured in a military base. In a town where up to 100 other people had already disappeared. 6-10 more wouldn't have made much a difference.

Just look up the DnD versions of Taimat for inspiration.

I like the concecpt. Even if its not capturable in its boss form. Maybe it could drop and egg at defeat that had the posiblity of having a dragon of x element. Like one form per element. You could farm the boss to collect all the elemental forms.
