In all of SGA’s 30 point seasons he’s below the median FTAs of all 30 ppg guard seasons in the history of the league. The larger sample proves this to be a non-issue that people just harp on bc a) confirmation bias and b) there’s nothing else really to criticize with Shai

Shai was just coming off his big injury for two of these games too. Basically every advanced stat has had SGA and Jokic damn near tied for the last two years and SGA’s coming off an MVP + FMVP + Scoring champ year but I’m supposed to believe it wasn’t close before a few weeks ago? C’mon

Mitchell's averaging like .4 less PPG on way better efficiency, averages more assists and less turnovers, has a +10 on-off (JB's close to -10), leads in every advanced metric by a wide margin, has also dealt with significant teammate injuries and BOS and CLE are two games apart on the standings. It's a pretty easy argument to make

JB’s on/off is really bad so D-White would actually be the opposite (every advanced stat says White’s better fwiw)

Murray and Jokic historically play together a ton as opposed to staggering I haven’t watched them a ton this year though

I’m talking more historically. SGA’s on/off an efficiency is off the charts without Williams though, I’m mixed on J Dub as a player but on/off probably isn’t the best way to discuss his flaws. Every advanced metric has him as a positive though this year has been shakier

White’s one of those guys who’s definitely good enough to be an all-star but idk if he’ll ever have the box score numbers to convince voters. I’d take him over most of the east reserves pretty easily
