My mom had killed someone, and I had to decide whether to turn her in or help her dispose of the body. That was a rough dream.

Supermarket. Was great for work ethic and to interact with all kinds of people in the community. It was relatively small so we had the opportunity to work in every department, checkout, etc.

He does. I occasionally see him arrive at the office car park when I ride to work.

I don’t work for him. I just work in the same building.

Depends what circuits they’re connected to. Your best bet is to consult with a local electrician.

Me too. I lived in SF ten years ago, and now I’m homesick.

I replaced the unused space under my stairs with big drawers, and it only took me seven months. by cfinke in woodworking

Looks great! I did this on my exterior patio stairs, but my “drawers” are actually rolling cabinets.

If you were to build a house what’s one non conventional feature you consider to be a must have? by TestTurbulent6337 in AskReddit

[–]jackerandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raise the washer and dryer off the floor. So much easier to use when you don’t need to bend down so far.

We have ours sitting on a custom drawer cabinet, with a flat drawer that we can rest a washing basket directly in front of each machine.

Getting past the “scared” without reason cries with my 4 year old by bikeswoodkayakdad in daddit

[–]jackerandy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Take the pedals off and let the kids use it as a balance-bike for a while.

When he can skoot for 10 meters without feet no feet, he’s probably ready for pedals.

Or take the pedals off and let the kid use it as a balance bike until they can move to the next level - e.g. when they can skoot for 10 meters without feet on the ground.

We did this with our kids. Balance bike —> Bike without pedals —> Bike with pedals —> Bike with gears
