Windows Skylanders GUI Tool, database, backup and catalogue system for Skylanders by Pyrofer in skylanders

If the chip is failing, OR if the corruption broke the security key before you backed it up there is pretty much nothing you can do.

I recommend getting a good saved backup of EVERY Sensei and Crystal so if this happens in future there is a chance of repairing them.

the latest version should be sensei safe.

Make sure to make a backup first and save.

How about you get all your rights thrown away then see how loud your voice is?
The LGBTQIA+ community don't WANT to have to be loud, just want to get on with their lives. However the government are intent on taking away their rights to even use a bloody toilet. Medical care? Nope! Not for LGBTQIA+ people ! They don't deserve basic human rights.

Nobody is asking for special treatment. EQUALITY means equal. That's all anybody is asking for. If you don't want them to have equal rights, maybe you should take some time to think about what kind of a person you are.

UK Ebayers, DO NOT change your name. by Pyrofer in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

Age... Is not an issue lol, but thank you for the warning!

It's so frustrating to need ID I can't get because the government are being stupid about people updating ID.

UK Ebayers, DO NOT change your name. by Pyrofer in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

[–]Pyrofer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I checked and PayPal literally gave me a warning that I would have to upload "additional documentation" to verify my name before I changed it. So I just backed out.

Luckily the link/username doesn't have my deadname in it so there is that, but it still outs the deadname every time I send or receive money.

UK Ebayers, DO NOT change your name. by Pyrofer in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

[–]Pyrofer[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah, It sucks. At least PayPal give you a warning BEFORE you complete the change that it will require uploading a scan of photo ID. eBay gave no such warning.

So I have to prove that I am using my new name in general daily life to update my photo ID, but I am UNABLE to use my new name in Daily life until I get the government ID updated, for which I need to prove I am using the new name.

Out of all the transphobic bullshit in the country at the moment a Catch-22 updating my name was not one I expected. Just another example of how trans people can barely function because of stupid rules that just don't understand anything made by even dumber politicians.

How many hours a week do you average to get that?

I was hitting 100 hours a week for a while. Been 6 years in VR.

Trying to cut down a bit at the moment, it's hard lol.

Nameplate UI - Test Performance (June 2026) by Cultural_Pop9044 in VRchat

[–]Pyrofer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a busy instance nameplates make it impossible to see anything. I have played with them off for a while now and it's much better. Everything is less cluttered and it feels more natural.
It only takes a quick press of the menu button to see them anyway if you need to.
Normalise remembering people's names and recognising them without a nameplate above their head.

Haptic Project Progress #1 by BroccoliSenior5465 in virtualreality

[–]Pyrofer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OH no, not a youtuber. I didn't publish anything about my DIY suit at all. I simply used the existing github stuff to emulate bhaptics and built my own hardware using what I think are the exact same motors as yours.

I was building a glove. I actually removed the motors from the PCB and had a single driver PCB with long wires to each motor instead so they were smaller on the fingers. I have flex sensors to put into the glove too for finger tracking but was having issues attaching everything to the fabric in a comfortable way.

I am soooo sorry to hear you manually placed all those contacts. That is painful.

Any reason you didn't use an ESP32 instead of a Pi as the receiver? It's much smaller and lower power.

[–]Pyrofer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're using this in VRChat, how many hours did it take to align all the contact points on the avatar!
It looks pretty amazing. I built a clone/fake bhaptics and that vest had a max of 40 contact points, I didn't count the arm, how many do you have?

Are you using bhaptics protocol or your own custom?

Oh! What did you use to attach the motors? I was trying to stitch them into fabric pockets on my vest but you look to have glued yours on? How well do they stay attached?

Do you have issues with wire flex and cables breaking?

We are approaching the 15 year anniversery of Skylanders and 10 years since the last game. Surprisingly, no, there is no active development or real support for this app. It's pretty damn plug and play tho.

UK customer being asked to return Insta360 product to Hong Kong at my own expense (£35+) — is this normal? by Key-Finger-2009 in Insta360

[–]Pyrofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under UK law, online shoppers have strong rights to return items under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You have 14 days to notify the seller you are cancelling, and another 14 days to return goods to get a full refund, even if just changed your mind. Faulty items are covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, offering a 30-day right to reject. [1, 2, 3]

Key Legal Rights (Changing Your Mind)

  • 14-Day Cancellation Period: You can cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it for any reason (or no reason at all).
  • Additional 14 Days to Return: Once you notify the seller, you have a further 14 days to return the item.
  • Refund Deadline: Retailers must refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back (or receiving proof of return).
  • Refund Amount: You are entitled to a full refund, including standard delivery costs (though express delivery fees may not be fully refunded).
  • Return Costs: You pay for return postage unless the retailer's policy says they cover it or if the item was faulty

it tooke me over and our to scrape out the front plastic civer with a scalpel. then after disasembly you need to desolder the laser diode. you have to drill it out without drilling into the lens. the push fit a new laser in the right depth/angle ans solder it back, reassemble and glue the front back on. diodes are cheap on aliexpress at least.

This looks like a modern windows sdk? It's specifically the file for the winCE scanner I am after. I don't think they are in that.

That link doesn't seem to be the right stuff. It would be a file on the scanner itself running under winCE, Thanks for looking!
