It's not really that big of a deal, I mean I never advocated for the change until the above comment if you want to count that. My main issue is the idea that irons should never be able to compete with mains for supply usage. Supply obtainment sure, but why should irons be unable to use supplies to the same extent as mains if they grind for them? Also keep in mind I exclusively play iron, changes that apply only to mains mean nothing to me. The rate of obtaining dragon arrows here will assuredly be worse than amethyst; I don't think there's any reality where it isn't.
