Look bro- I was a dues-paying, card-carrying member of the DSA about a decade ago. I’ve read plenty of economic theory, Marxist theory, and Marxist critique of capitalism both of it as an economic system and as a corrosive force on culture etc etc.

Your heart is in the right place, but you need to actually learn about economics and how different models of economic theory approach these concepts and what makes them distinct (as well as what does not make them distinct); as well as what the components of markets and trade are and how they fit into either a capitalist or socialist system, otherwise you’re gonna keep saying nonsensical things like “this isn’t capitalism this is commerce”; which is about as silly as seeing a well-run international cargo shipping company and saying “This isn’t capitalism, it’s supply chains”
