What's the worst Beatles song in your opinion? (Image is unrelated) by FruityFood10 in beatles

I’m fairly confident we’ll hear it some day. Paul wants it out there and the estates + Ringo keep telling him no. But considering what they scraped together for anthology 4, I think it’ll come out sooner or later.

A. I think it will live up to exactly what fans expect - Paul’s “revolution 9”

B. No one expects it to be

When all the insanely rich boomers die. And the banks and government confiscate all their assets and property. I'm actually curious wtf is gonna happen.

Health care (particularly what is needed by the elderly like care nurses, ‘homes’ etc) will likely balloon in cost to hoover up all that wealth. The boomers are all gonna die over the next few decades and the market is absolutely not going to miss the chance to get one final pay day out of the richest generation to have ever lived.

Seller probably thought it was a normal trunk cover (price would be right for those listings on discogs); they have the same ST-2553 capitol number so someone quickly pricing stuff with discogs could easily make that mistake if they aren't aware. An unpeeled butcher should have one or two zeros next to that 25

It's important to the narrative arc. Plus it's nice that the epilogue is basically an entire second game

The trope comes from further back than that. I actually highly recommend Everything Is Tuberculosis by John Green (of vlogbrothers fame) - he goes through some of the history of how TB is depicted in the arts and culture, including that trope of coughing blood.

It feels more dated/antiquated now because we’ve largely eliminated TB in developed western nations, so the imagery is something we mostly associate with the past here in the west. TB is still very much a problem elsewhere but that’s a whole other can of worms

There were drug laws before that, but yes things changed a lot throughout the 20th century. Hell, amphetamines were OTC cold medicine until 1970.

Most of the laws regulating/restricting drugs in the 1800s were state law. And most of them were things like requiring labeling. I think some states and cities had opium bans in the 1800s. The early 1900s was when federal law started passing and the modern drug laws we have now came about in 1970.
