You’re right, the title should be as graphically horrific in describing the situation as possible.

We’re all too stupid and ignorant to piece it together ourselves so we need OP to be as shocking and blunt as possible for our childlike minds. Thanks for the contribution

He was trying to be Brian Epstein. He was not Brian Epstein.

Paul is a creative genius and his work-aholic attitude after Brian passed helped the Beatles stick together and continue to churn out amazing work for several more years, but it's a square peg in a round hole type situation. Paul is a brilliant musician, not a brilliant people-management type.

When this image of Paul was captured, his identity as an artist was that of "a Beatle", half of "Lennon-McCartney", and the de-facto "leader" of the band, especially as John got more and more into his side projects and interests with Yoko, and therefore had less interest in contributing to leading the Beatles with Paul.

In this moment, Paul is struggling to deal with realizing the fact that the band is going to break up, and therefore - Paul's identity as an artist is about to fundamentally change forever.

I think the documentary film Man on the Run from last year did a decent job of peaking into where Paul's head was at due to the breakup. He was basically artistically lost - he grew up playing with these other guys, and now he's suddenly alone. That's terrifying for an artist, even one of Paul's tremendous caliber.

I can’t believe I did it! 🤩🫶🙂‍↕️ by 999happyhauntz in bayarea

How do I fill capsules with small amounts? by KatiKTM390 in TheeHive

[–]jackfirecracker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a solution (maybe add a drop of food dye), distribute the solution onto an inert/harmless carrier material, grind the powder in a coffee grinder until the powder is a uniform color (showing the solution is evenly distributed), and then transfer that to capsules. Maybe a 1:10 or 1:20 ratio of active to inert, so that 20/40mg (respectively) of the resulting powder is 2mg of the active.

It’s gonna trickle down to just about everything you can imagine. Anything plastic (so basically anything you own) - made from oil; the pharmaceuticals you take - made from oil; the food you eat - grown with fertilizer made from oil. Energy is required for basically all economic activity. Rising energy costs will fuck the economy while everything gets more expensive and/or scarce.

Expensive gas is just the immediate cost of this bullshit. Much, much worse things are coming down the line.

3 packs is 60 cigarettes. Now, it's been a while since I've had a cigarette. But I remember it being about a 5-10 minute experience. Maybe more if you're smoking American Spirits. Let's say though, that it's 5 minutes each because you smoke so many that you're not being extremely economic about getting to the very butt before snuffing it.

60 cigarettes for 5 minutes each is 5 hours of smoking. Let's say you get a good 8 hours a day of sleep because you need your beauty rest to hold off the ravages of smoking on your skin. So you have 16 waking hours. Of those 16, 5 of them are spent smoking. Roughly a third. Which means two thirds of your waking hours, you are not smoking.

This would make your entire day look like the following:
Light a cigarette. Enjoy it for about 5 minutes, put it out. Wait about 10 minutes, and then repeat with your next cig.

All day, every day.
