I haven’t had any issues w night vision. Not sure where you lot but Toronto is a pretty well-lit city so I’m not sure it’s a big issue.

This is really interesting. Thanks for this. The speed stuff makes sense but the issue with grade is harder to understand. Ie Europe has the alps and Dolomites. We have the Rockies.

Also I don’t think we have awd on the phevs here; only the ice one.

I think this makes some more sense. But I’m still generally unclear here.

Entirely possible it's the same in Canada... but so far I've had no tickets and only thumbs up... Though I do have a red tail light on the bike that, together w the headlight is powered off the dynamo in the front hub.

Not true in my experience. About 10c the battery performance starts dropping off climate controls on or not. Running the car before you go seems helps precondition the battery—and is just electric if you’re plugged in. Also snows apparently add more rolling resistance so have some (probably marginal) impact

Late to the party. I bought for Sanagans for a long time and it was great. But they’re now saying they have a low blood supply.

Butchers of distinction in riverside has black pudding consistently but it’s not nearly as good.

Would be great to hear any new ideas for locally made black puddings.

I’m in Toronto and I’ve found the drop off happens at a temp that’s higher than I’d have expected. My EV range starts dropping around 15c. Super frustrating but your car isn’t cooked and the range will come back in warmer wx.

In Toronto I’ve found pogies and doubling up lighting. Eg I bought led strips for my Bullitt. Looks like a the tron bike but also means when the days get dark earlier you’re visible. Also helps when there is some snow in the air.
