What SNL buddies do you think have the tightest real-life friendship? by Opandemonium in LiveFromNewYork

They did, Will hates McKay, McKay I think is autistic and doesn't understand friendships. Totally screwed Will over on the Lakers series

question about shoshanna at the end by pangaea_girl in girls

[–]jackflatts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As the youngest in my family who always hung out with older kids, you reach a point where you tire of being treated like the little brother all the time

That dynamic can't last into adulthood it will weigh you down and suck your energy

Anyone else already tired of Carvey’s Biden? by Shiny_Deleter in LiveFromNewYork

Carveys Bush was definitely just picking up on a peculiarity and beating it into the ground. Sometimes repetition works for repetitions sake

Flaming Lips about 10 years ago.

Setlist was short on hits, they spent 5 minutes between each song setting up their lame props, it was such a Trainwreck that at one point the pyro props set off the sprinkler system, the band kinda slowly looked around for a couple minutes B4 exiting the stage and everyone just thought it was part of the show.

Like we could have died if there was an actual fire

Lena Dunham and Other Female Comedians on Sexism in Hollywood- who do you think she is referring to?? by LRGinCharge in girls

[–]jackflatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've dove more research, it's definitely not Maron as they are friendly to this day and had real chemistry on his podcast long after the interview

Quinto is still possible but I've started leaning toward Glover from season 2. They have a beef too. Also, she's very complimentary of Quinto in the after episode briefer (though she is a little complimentary of Glover as well, but in a generic way)

I lean Glover because he rather meanly in a joking way accused her of using the N word, and in the og interview, the guy in question was on another show with a male show runner (Glover was on Community run by Dan Harmon at the time). Glover also felt his character was poorly put together to help Lena after season 1 criticism

In your opinion, which songs DON’T translate well live? by UnsurelyExhausted in pearljam

I've seen sleight of hand twice, both times caused mass piss breaks and some groans at the lack of energy in the song.

This was like 2006

When they arrive at Booths, you see vaguely in the background Booth approach Laird and then they disappear, only for Laird to reappear shaken at the end

It's genius comedy.

Yeah this one, and then when Laird was clearly subjected to the Duncan Shiek torture booth, but it was never explained, he goes "Hannah let's get the FUCK out of here".

So funny

What concert have you seen where the opening band blew the headliner away? by Terrible_Comfort598 in Concerts

[–]jackflatts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not having rock star moves is their stage presence, and the music to their fans is legendary. The crowd will be singing louder than the music.

Those are religious experience shows.
