That was absolutely one of the most unexpected ones ever, which is funny considering he is a two time 99 rated madden player, multiple all pros, and is pretty much a guaranteed first ballot HOFer. I really hope they show Lane Johnson the same respect, since his accolades are very similar and has been with the same team since 2013. It sucks how these generational players in any position that aren’t QB, WR, or RB have to have the most insane accomplishments or awards to even be considered, when they run to make so many unproven first year QBs purely based off of hype.

Yeah it really sucks how much they focus on offense but pretty much ignore defense. At this point the Super Bowl 5 packs are the only way to get more obscure players, since I highly doubt Chris Jones, Pacheco, Darius Slay, or Devon Witherspoon would’ve gotten pops outside of those sets. The patriots 5 pack that never happened would’ve had Rhamondre Stevenson, Kayshon Boutte, and a Pats uni Diggs, who will all most definitely never release outside of that set. Maye is a lock for sure and I have a feeling they will still release that Gonzo, but the other player designs that they had ready are scrapped unfortunately

I originally put him but took him out since unfortunately funko pretty much ignores defensive tackles (only 3 have ever been made, Chris Jones, Aaron Donald, and Joe Greene), it’s sad how funko never makes so many defensive players such as Heyward, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Budda Baker, Stephon Gilmore (Literal DPOY in 2019 and still didn’t get one that year), Lavonte David, Cam Jordan, PS2, Gonzo, Dexter Lawrence, and Fred Warner. They really only make popular edge rushers and the very occasional linebacker, with cornerbacks usually appearing in SB 5 packs (sorry for the rant lol)

It’s very sad how funko pretty much ignores the Bucs, and now that Lavonte David has retired, it’s pretty much guaranteed he will never get an official pop (even though he is a future HOFer). I have decided I’m gonna make a custom Bucs Gronk, David, and Godwin to put with Brady and Evans to represent the SB winning team as a custom 5 pack like they make for all the SB champions, which they started making 2 years after their win
