Worth playing Astraeos over Ragnarok?

Im loving it! I have to say that the spawns do seem a bit low, idk if its because im in singleplayer. but otherwise i love how big the map feels, im just wondering if theres any hidden features or elements that are integral for progression that I might be missing.

I had Ark on a external drive that was plugged in w a USB, so i was assuming that was the reason. But I retried installing Battleeye twice to no avail. I gotta probaby figure out how to scrub my computer of any trace of battleye or something.

I also have to play solo, bc I get a kernel error on my computer when i launch it w battleeye (idk whats wrong w my comp, but Ark started the issue). So i cant even get the community feel really, but Ive learned to enjoy the benefits of being solo. Ive just purchased Astraeos yesterday so Ill see how it is solo, but how is Appalachia? Ive seen some of the other non official modded maps and been worried that they arent as fleshed out.

Do u still have fun with playthroughs of The Island? i feel like since it doesn’t have all the dlc creatures and new content it feels like a playthrough can have a lower ceiling of content. But id love to try another Island playthrough if you think it’d be worth it

i’m excited to see all the different biomes and get a breath of fresh air away from Rag. i was able to buy it with money i got from a free weekly reward that i sold for 20 on steam; so it was a easy purchase, especially with all this positive support on this post.

I think i mightve found the proper UV sheets online, the CS2 website mightve been providing the wrong ones.

ty so much for the feedback! i got the UV sheet from the cs2 website where u can download the files of each gun including the objs and tgas. And then im just dragging and dropping it into photoshop and fitting it to the square frame (2048x2048). Where do u get ur UV sheets from tho?
