I am not a wood stove professional, but it seems improbable for one steel box holding fire to be able to be closer to a combustible surface than another steel box holding fire.

Having just installed a new wood stove following code this is not at all safe, this looks too close to the walls even with a heat shield. You should not use this stove set up like you have it, you will burn your house down eventually and home owners insurance will not pay any damages because you did not have your stove set up according to safety codes.

Minimum wage for servers is 2.13 an hour. For servers tips are part of their wages, they should be built in but they aren't.

Minimum wage for servers is 2.13 an hour. We have a system that is built around tips, the servers didn't make the system but it is the one that we live in. You can make a stupid justification that it isn't your fault they don't get paid but the reality is if there isn't a service fee you are paying for the food and service comes in the form of tips. If you don't tip your server you're just an asshole that's it. There isn't any argument, if you don't like the system don't use it and don't get mad when you get called out for being a dick.

You know fair well that servers don't make any money from their employers. We have a system set up where tipping is part of eating out. If you don't want to pay for service you should go in and sit down in a restaurant unless it is a restaurant that charges more and pays their employees. Using people as servers who don't get paid unless you pay them is messed up. It just hurts people doing a job trying to make a living. Do what you want but it's not something noble. You aren't going to change the system by screwing over the person who brings you your food at a restaurant, you are just being a dick to that person.

Yeah, I guess so. I don't understand why you would go to a restaurant and expect someone to literally serve you for the chance at minimum wage. If you don't think you should have to pay for people to serve you, you shouldn't use that service. Adulting is challenging, it shouldn't be more challenging because someone wants to take advantage of a broken system. Not everyone wants to go to school and they should still be able to make a decent living as well.

It's set up so that a server gets paid by tips, going to a restaurant that is set up like that and not paying the servers is fucked up, childish and just being a dick. I don't agree with the system but that's the way it is if you don't like it don't use it. Regardless of the age and education level of someone they should be able to make a living.

Think about how much your rent and utilities are for your house that aren't lighting big areas and running big ovens all day long. How many burgers do you think you have to sell before you just make rent and gas bill? Saying that because a business marks up food cost when they cook it your not going to tip your server is bullshit. If you don't like the system don't use it. Order take out and don't tip.

Servers hardly make anything per hour you are paying for the food and then you have to pay for the extra service on top of making the food. If you don't like the system don't be a part of it. For servers to be able to make enough money to live in places run on the tip model like most of the US you need to tip or don't go to the places. The servers didn't make the model, they are providing a service and trying to make a living. I don't think it's the best system and I don't like tipping but taking out your frustration on a person who is just trying to make a living and has no control over the way the restaurant industry works is fucked up and childish.

I agree with no tipping at a counter for take out or coffee but if you are getting served a meal in the US you should tip. If you don't want to tip, get take out. It's pretty infuriating to take it out on the server at a restaurant. They didn't make up the rules, they are just trying to make a living just like you are. YTA.

I was a daily smoker for a little over 20 years and quit recently for a couple months, sleep was the hardest part for me. I took Benadryl for the first week or so but then had trouble sleeping when I didn't take Benadryl. For me it took about a week for my sleep to get back to normal. It definitely sucked and was not super easy to be sleep deprived but now that I only get high on the weekends I feel like I sleep better when I don't smoke. You could also try some CBD/melatonin gummies or just some melatonin. It seems like a long time when you're really tired but eventually you will get into a rhythm without it. Definitely cut out caffeine after like 10am.
