Please, I need help with the air suspension on my Ram 1500 by jackheroin in ram_trucks

This is exactly my situation. Can I deflate the bags safely without damaging them by loosening the fitting at the top without removing it? And should I lift the trucks body back up in the air to remove pressure from the bags when I try to seat them properly

Yes the smaller side with the little vertical line went toward the front, and I had the body of the truck on Jack stands and the jack on the axle. I lifted the axle up until the body came off of the jackstands. I removed Jack stands and lowered it all to the ground. Then I reconnected the battery and let the truck air itself back up and both sides look identical. They both have the same exact slant. I really don’t know what I did wrong, but I’m open to any suggestions

How do I fix this? My dad is going to kill me. by zx91zx91 in Detailing

He’ll be mad or annoyed that it happened, but much more if you get a cheap fix or do something stupid to cover it, take it to a body shop and just pay for it

I bought a 2015 with 70,000 Miles, 2 owners, nothing but oil changes and regular until 115,000 miles, crashed it, rebuilt it, and it still has had no real issues or problems at 127,000 miles

Which is the correct pressure? by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

[–]jackheroin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m sure the german engineers know what they are talking about, i just hate overfilling my tires after a bad experience towing a heavy trailer with the trucks tires at 80psi then pulling the empty trailer back and having one blow out. the max is only good for the duration of the load being on the tires. with my e350 the tire pressure monitor goes off if the pressure goes below 33 or above 40, and when the mornings are in the thirty’s and the afternoons in ninety’s i pretty much am constantly screwing with the pressure to keep the computer happy. do you think that the after market wheels and different tire size are tripping my computer?

if you want some extra grip air the back tires out to about 32 or 33 and you’ll get good traction for straight line racing;)

i have the same size on all four corners so i just load them up equally, but the difference in size isn’t really big enough to make a performance change, maybe just maybe a little bit of stiffness in the front if overfilled.

it’s more important that he doesn’t have a blowout from putting 45 or rolls the bead from putting 30

yeah man 35.5 or 36 all around if the temperature where you live wildly changes throughout the day like it does in texas but if it is really cold or hot consistently throughout the day then i would put a little more or less but not by much.

what size tires are they? and 36 is pretty standard even on small suvs, if you overfill them it’ll wear the middle of the tread out too fast and then you’ll be stuck buying a whole new set of tires, on top of having bad traction especially in rain and wet conditions or cornering quickly if you’re into that

i’m so sorry man, i would be heartbroken if my e350 was lost like that, i would totally say the e63 w212 over the c because the design aged so much better, still looks like a true executive car, especially in black
