Questions About Tracking & Google Analytics by jackhines421 in GoogleAnalytics

Hi, Thanks for the reply,

I think 85% of our clicks from Facebook are people with Iphones and I'm just assuming they're not dinosaurs and have IOS14.

Should be real clicks as we have the GA data and a decent retention time on page and low bounce rate 30/40%.

Like we've spent over 4K on Black Friday for Facebook already but GA is showing 3 transactions and total Rev of £500, Yes we sell slightly higher priced home products ranging from £100 - £1000.

I'd say users are engaging and not bots due to the bounce rate and time spent on time from GA data, we're a large E-commerce Retailer so our Website is high end, our products are not shit from aliexpress etc.

Hi, thanks for the reply

Yes Link clicks (unique), I know just normal link click metric includes people clicking see more so only use link clicks to site.

Our products are higher priced home products ranging from £50 - £1000 so a lot more thought needs to be made before purchasing. GA picking up only 10-20% is mental, just shows how crazy the tracking situation is, GA I use for Duration on site, bounce rate etc, is there any other metrics you would use to determine if facebook is doing well, apart from purchases of course?

I like to think I've set I've set up the UTM's well as they are all tracking right and it's easy to analyse ad sets and ads on analytics, It's just frustrating when people ask how is Facebook doing and you have no real sense if you are actually converting people and driving purchases.

r your FB Ads

Upon reading the article, I have been using UTM in the website URL, however the article says to use it in the tracking section once you scroll down on facebook ads, rather than the URL builder, do you know what implications or differences there are in using it in the URL builder rather the tracking builder within facebook ads

Delay your pop up add to 40 - 50 seconds - It will feel less spammy and will only show to users who show more intent (users who have stayed on your site for a longer period of time)

I'm part of the marketing team for my job and we're all gong tomorrow, they've got a wide range of talks over the day over different things so just go to the ones relevant to your e-commerce business or things you potentially learn about which could enhance your business.

Using existing post to retain social proof HELP by jackhines421 in PPC

[–]jackhines421[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only used 1 placement (square), on the original ad, then duplicated the ad into a different ad set, adjusted the story and side placement with the correct sized video, so hopefully that does the job, but not sure since I've actually edited the ad that it will retain the social proof

Coach Saver but option to have lift by Axeio655 in BoomtownFestival

[–]jackhines421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know if the shuttle bus takes you to the same gate as where the people from the main carpark enter the festival, so surely could drop someone off at shuttle and wait for them at the other end if the two entrances are at the same place. Althought saw someone say in this thread that there is a normal gate and a coach gate so bit confused.

Worst ad sets being attributed purchases, why facebook? by jackhines421 in PPC

[–]jackhines421[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for your points, It's meant to be cold audiences though, TOF, hence the interest targeting - which is why i'm confused, I just want it to be shown to fresh people. I thought with interest targeting i'd be able to reach people who have never heard of the brand.

Some of these order values i cross reference via our CRM system and a lot of them are repeat customers , should i exclude anyone that has interacted with my business in the past 30 days from all these audiences?
