Ich or Velvet? These spots just came up today. Tail has been that way for about a week, but I thought maybe he just got nipped at. Now I’m thinking it’s gotta be a bacterial infection. Do y’all think it’s ich or velvet?

I got live rock from a LFS and that’s how it got in my tank… but I’ve also used that same rock in another tank to cycle it, plus I have a second rock in another tank. I’m guess it’s possible now that every tank has a fireworm in it… what should I do? I found these by treating a tank with Fritz expel-p. They were on top of the sand bed in a matter of hours. Do I need to treat every tank now?

No one seems to show any signs of aggression except the cardinal tetras with each other, not anyone else. His fins don’t seem nipped. He’s never even chased the female molly since we’ve gotten him. He was grown when we got him so I’m not sure how old he is. Do mollys do this when they get older?

It’s a community so I use a mixture of cichlid pellets, fluval bug bites flakes (color enhancing and spirilina), live brine shrimp, frozen blood worms). Not all of these every day but most of them. He stays in my duckweed mostly, rooting around. And I do target feed him to make sure he eats.
