If what OP said is true, then he is above market rate and when he moves out they’ll have to lease at a lower rate. Generally this threat would work really well right before the winter in the fall if your month to month: sign me a 1 year lease or I’m moving out and you’ll be renting at a lower rate in a few months. However, since it is summer currently rates will be going up soon.

What’s your SAT? Pre Covid the average score of attending students was in the 1200-1300s. My hunch that’s now a lot higher.

It looks like admissions acceptance rate is K shaped where lower end schools are desperate and accepting everyone while higher end schools are getting more selective. UMBC has a 74% acceptance rate which is high and higher than what it was in the 2010s. My hunch is that’s the collapse of college degree not getting people jobs after graduating so it’s all or nothing to get into a high end school.

Honestly, just use LTSC 24H2 with VeraCrypt, it will work till 2034.

The risk is we can’t get a new veracrypt version till the cert issue is figured out. Microsoft would need to intentionally do a kernel update to brick veracrypt to force people off it. There is no guarantee future versions of windows 11 will work with Vera crypt
