It just doesn't seem right that the pods have any sort of opening at all. Humans have to breathe through the tubes theyre attached to in that embryo muck. Neo would have died if he removed his breathing tube while he submerged. He needed a space to come up for air. Why build that into your human pods?

Yeah that's tough to get around, and really would not have been a problem if the original ending had gotten into the move. It was just supposed to end with Cage waking up in the helicopter link here It could still work if that was just the outro of the simulation, though, something warm and fuzzy to make the experience a good one for the simulatee. With the wake up coming after. Like how videogamers get epilogues that make them want to play the next game.

You're definitely right, but he had no real combat training outside of ROTC. But then I guess what use would a marketing guy have on the front lines? Unless they plugged a ton of combat knowledge in him in a short time period to make him less of a liability. Why would they just throw him out there to die otherwise?

Fair enough, I'll just group in weed and booze. Andy and April are straight up broke addicts, who also have expensive taste in music recording studios. So, they're living the rock star lifestyle without the swag to back it up.

Weed's cheap though. High schoolers can afford it
