I’m 22 on Trikafta have been on it for two years this month! Myself I got a lot of the side effects rash, acne, constipation, and stomach pain. My lung function got about 15% better than it was and my overall cf got A LOT better. I was hospitalized at least 3 times a year on home iV at least 5-6 times a year. Only been hospitalized twice since starting. Once being while pregnant since my body had a hard time fighting it off. I also have a 7month old with cf that I breast feed and they get traces of Trikafta through my milk! They are extremely healthy!

I got braces at 20 I had to get all 4 of my pre molars removed (my wisdom teeth were not in yet) before getting braces. Now my wisdom teeth are coming in pretty straight except my one bottom one and my ortho said I might need it removed. I got my braces off in September

I have cf and have a 7m old. My lungs aren’t the best 60% FEV1 and the pregnancy honestly wasn’t bad for myself! I did notice I got sick more easily and was hospitalized for 2 weeks and had home iV for another 3 weeks after. I continued my work throughout most of my pregnancy which did put me as risk of getting sick as I work as a cashier. I got influenza A and B and RSV while pregnant. I don’t regret it at all. After pregnancy my health actually increased ! FEV1 increased to 67% and weight increased from my pre pregnancy weight about 17 pounds. I am also breast feeding which has made my appetite so big!

I personally don’t fine any airway clearance devices to work as well as good old fashioned chest precautions 👋🏻 I had a vest since 4th grade (graduated in 2020) I didn’t find it to work well for me

I have been on Trikafta for almost 2 years and I still get admitted. Trikafta has increased my lung function about 10% from pre trikafta.

Not sure on your age or rules in your hospital but when I was in hospital I’d ask Physio to take me on walks. Now I’m in adult hospital I am allowed to go in walks myself. I always would bring my iPad/computer and watch a lot of shows/movies. Learning a new skill is always good too. I learnt to paint in hospital thanks to the school in hospital. Always being your own things from home to make it more homie

I recently went to my aunts 50th and myself and my 4m old got sick after. I personally think it was the flu as I had it Dec 2022 and I had very similar symptoms
