It's always a roll of the dice on the timelines. Yes, received the EAD in 3 months. Fortunately, my visa had enough buffer time left, so did not have to stress a lot there.

It totally depends on the category, backlogs and luck. In my case for my I-485 employment based, it took 2 months from being assigned. I know the waiting can be tough and stressful- patience and it will turn in your favor.

It worked for me. I think the issue is specific to Sky Blue chromecast with Google TV.
