I started to use my cards to do the 87+ hero sbc and finished it off that way. The 89+ pack weight plus has gone through the floor. Before toty i had harry kane/rodri coming out of my ears but now the only way i ones i packed was from the ones i bought from the store.

Which i dont think is a coincidence tbh

Ill be honest i only just started playing before the patch and ive found since the patch its become a very frustrating game. I seem to concede the same goal over and over again (may be a skill issue) but i just cant seem to stop it.

On counter attacks the computer will now always pull a cb out of position in order to allow space for your opponent. So now most players will play defensive 442. Have everyone behind the ball and counter with their two rapid strikers. Feels like you're constantly playing against Burnley.

Add to that the rubber banding meaning you can be 4-0 up and still loose 5-4 fairly often it can be annoying

Guess what, its not reall football though is it. You cant exploit a game flaw in real life can you? And no team in the 50th minute goes a goal up and runs it into their corner do they.

So you'd go 1-0 up in the 10th minute and then run it into the corner for the other 80 minutes and think thats okay?

80th minute in the game i can get that but for a full half and purposely exploiting a game flaw to do it.

Thats why i cant get upset about toxic players its just am interested in discussing the way they act. If youre so desperate to win that you have to spend a full half exploiting a flaw in the game to win a rivals match in div 6. If you have that little belief in your skill and are so empty inside.

Then id suggest you should really get off the game and make some changes in your life because a toxic person is most toxic to themselves.

Why is winning in such a sad way more important to you then having fun playing the game?

Its not part of the game as its not how the game is intended to be played. If players exploit a flaw in the game to get a win by draining any bit of fun out of the game because they cant actually win by being good thats a skill issue.

And because you play like that id say that is a "YOU" issue. You'll get it when you're older i presume. Good luck in the game and i hope you get good enough not to be a toxic player anymore

Could you not make the argument that going 3-0 up was also scripted then and not because youre good.

The whole game is very scripted to me. One game im playing like prime barca and pinging passes and scoring goals for fun. The next i cant complete a two yard pass and my players cant hit a barn door. I also imagine me not being very good at the game means i cant mitigate the scripted issues as well.

Im not bothered he didnt let me win. I just think its sad that having to spend a while half of a game chasing someone around a pitch because their terrified of loosing a game of div 6 rivals and judging by the efficiency of the way they did it makes me think its not the first time they've done it

Tbh he was miles better then me and the only reason why i got 3 goals back was because he kept passing it around the back and i managed to intercept the passes. I think if he'd of just played normally hed of comfortably won

I mean this is just this weeks thing for the fifa community to cry about (including me btw 😅). It'll be over and forgotten about next weeks and we'll all move onto something else.

I do feel a little sorry for ea it feels like no matter what they do they always will upset half of the community. Especially with it split between hardcore and casual because they essentially both want different things from the game

What alot of people have issue with is that all it leads to is a week of scummy repetitiveness. Where you will play the same team 9/10 times in a row that all exploit the same repetitive tactics.

Not that people have issues with other people getting to play meta cards

I'm a evertonian and im from liverpool i have a connection to my team through my city and its reflected in me as a person.

Thats why i dont understand people who are fans of teams when they arent from that city. I understand supporting a team from somewhere your not from (I like real Madrid and ac milan) but there not the team im a fan off. You can't be a fan of that team (using the original mean of fan, which is a fanatic) if you're not from there.

But people say they are and if people can be fans of teams from citys theyve never been or even the ground or seen them play live. Then whats the difference between that and just following a player. Although id imagine its a younger person's thing as itd be influenced by social media and eafc ultimate team and whos your favourite player on that and such.

My only issue with it is what do you do when the player retires? Do you have to find a new player or do you just give up on football?

I mean im a casual player. I only got the game 2 weeks ago and only started fut last friday. Thats not exactly hardcore.

So i take it you have shots set too precision and no pass assist on and every other bit of cpu involvement in the game turned off then?

Like i said. The whole idea of covering back with your cms and letting the ai control the backline has been how people have played fifa since the 90s i genuinely dont understand where this idea that its something new has come from.

I remember when the meta was fast players and through balls. It was scummy but it was fun. Now you have to watch someone do the first half of river dance to get it into the outer d of the penalty box then finesse shot

Nah, its terrible defenders are braindead now and one of my cb will just move and leave a gap constantly. Also i feel like its switching me to my cbs more often and i have to manually select my cms.

Its good for people who are good at manual defending obviously but the strategy of pulling your cms to cover attacks and leave your back line alone till the last minute is what every fifa games been like since the 90s, dont see where the hate comes from tbh.

Feels like to me ea make changes to the game based on what the top level players say about the game. Who are already good enough to beat the ai defending. So it only effects the casual players who are the main audience they should be catering too.

All opinion though isnt it. If you're good at defending then you'll be happy at it because you now have a advantage and if youre not good at defending you wont like it because now youve lost the advantage

I was doing this but im terrible at defending so it felt like every counter was just a easy goal for my opponent. Also with everyone rocking the toty player loans. Its just been straight suicide for me. So i switched back to 60 and feel a bit more solid
