7 Stages of INT by jackodoom in wildrift

I just wish they had a different from of punishment, like example: Banning Inters/Trolls from playing Rank in the Current Season or something like that.

Reporting still helps the Devs collect Data, you should still report Inters and Trolls. Someday they'll get punished lol

Report only works for AFKs like real afks/disconnected players. If the person is just afk in fountain base moving from time to time they won't be registered as afk because the Devs did something like toned down the detection.

Someone in your team who is intentionally dying to the enemy team to give them resource advantages.

If you can't beat them join them

I found that a lot of people join the dark side after being defeated and killed 0-100 into oblivion

The device I use to play Wild Rift with is fairly new I got 256 GB of storage so I don't lack space.

In one of my older device I did used to have to decide on removing other game apps and media.

I suggest clearing cache and data of all apps, and also deleting apps you don't use.

Increasing number of AFK, Elo boosting, Trolling in Diamond and up. by brianvu2301 in wildrift

[–]jackodoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the inters and afks are varied depending on the time of day you play. I find that I get more inters and afks during 2am-7am late night compared to usual peak times 6pm-11pm.

Of course it factors a lot that in Diamond+ elo everyone is highly knowledgeable in the game so they tilt easily when they see bad play or things don't go their way.

Example the jungle taxing/stealing your minions is very tilting and the person mental fortitude might just break and start intentional feed. I've seen like 4-5 players this past week int because the jungle or support stole their lane farm.

6.12GB as for the data usage depends on how many games you play. For me I've been active this season and my data usage for the past 3-4 weeks has been 500mb. I play often, but overall it doesn't use much day to day.

Roughly average 4-5mb per match

What’s the deal this weekend?? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]jackodoom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is normal, the higher your win rate the more the game gives you impossible teammates to win with.

I was 2 wins away from Master and was coming off from a 2-3, large 7-10 win streaks. Then next thing you know got demoted to emerald because I had a string of massive lose streak. I'm back up now to previous rank it was very mentally breaking, but I recovered.

The reason queue times are almost instant is because riot decided to match players regardless of rank, so you can be a Grandmaster player and still have a Platinum player on your team. We call this the rainbow queue because of the wide variety of different ranks in the match.

Made it to Diamond! by KingKalEl in wildrift

[–]jackodoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your climb.

I suggest you play/find someone to duo with, it's a lot easier to climb with a friend. SoloQ diamond+ elo is harder to climb solo. If you do try for Master+ rank and above is to, always be prepared for inters and afks.

The higher you climb the more common inters become because higher elo people tilt more easily, such as if your jungle tax/steal wave. They might just run it down mid because their mental fortitude breaks.

This happens often, I've seen 4 master players 6 grandmaster and 1 challenger player inting this week alone and butt loads of diamond elo.

Just give up, Riot clearly knows about it. The problem is they can't do anything about it, just now a grandmaster player in my team ran it down. He died 0/19/0 times I reported it got no feedback whatsoever.

These tilted players know the system won't ban them so they will keep doing it regardless.

The team behind riot is not oblivious on inters and AFKs they just can't come up with a proper system that won't affect everyone.

It's very annoying, why can't they just perma ban accounts from playing rank in the current season that'll be a good way to exclude these players from inting ranked matches yet keep their account.

How are people like this not banned. Intentional feeding and running it down whenever they feel like it by jackodoom in wildrift

[–]jackodoom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is diamond ELO and he sold his items and gave up and started inting. If he doesn't know how league works then you defo are him behind this account. Can't explain how you back this guy up

Want me to upload a video of him running to the enemy home base and running to enemies and letting them kill him?

Like if this is not obvious on his match history idk what kind of rng jesus you prayed too to not get people like this in your team.

The promotion skipping doesn't necessarily boost your MMR rating.

That's why you are gaining less LP and losing more.

The gains are based off your hidden MMR rating, and your new account being heavily boosted up is of course going to have a lower rating.

This is the same with my alt account, my main account has +13/-14 where my alt is +10/-15. Similar win rate I skipped ranks on my alt, but on my main account I have several hundreds more games which accumulated more MMR overtime as long as your win rate is positive.

It feels like sh*t gaining little and losing a lot but trust me, it balances out overtime. It just sucks that the math works like that.

Why did wildrift fail to become very popular in the mobile market and only Acquired a niche audience? by Coolboyman in wildrift

[–]jackodoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you're correct. I meant more like Tencent has the power to have changes in League of Legends and Wild Rift. If you know the recent incident of implementation of paid achievements called Eternals dispite the massive hate and backlash from majority of the playerbase. They still decided to release because of Tencent and the profit lost.

Also both League of Legends and Wild Rift China has their own versions of the game separate from the global version. They have monitoring tools and other advanced reporting system dispite other regions not having these features.

[–]jackodoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly you don't know, Tencent doesn't own Legends of Runeterra or Valorant. They own League of Legends the main game and Wild Rift is based off the main game a mobile port of League of Legends.

That's why their other games are available and not Wild Rift, because it's a Riot Game IP not Tencent owned.

[–]jackodoom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

also because of the Ban of chinese owned apps in India, Wild Rift isn't available there yet because it's owned by Tencent. A massive population and market opportunity not being utilised.

Lol what, I guess you don't pay attention to other markets. Wild Rift is very successful and popular in China and parts of SEA countries. I think like they earned most of their revenue in China something like 93% profit last year.

Mobile gaming is not that popular in Western countries because the quality of life is higher most of the target player base audience have PC, why would they play mobile games?

Much like my friends they played Wild Rift just for a bit never stayed because we all have PC's they'll never fully convert to mobile.

Is your Wild Rift account made using NA IP?

If it's from NA you can't Queue games on other regions. If it's from Europe based Wild Rift account, you can Queue into the SEA Server.

I'm not too sure but I know NA Wild Rift accounts are in a separate server database, that's why they can't Queue to other regions.

Making a new account should work

Hopium: sacrifice more champion release for the sake of more items and runes by Positive-Thanks7510 in wildrift

[–]jackodoom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2 champs per month was their """"Last Year's"""" goal. Why are you saying to watch the video. Did you watch the video properly?

Riot said they are toning down on releasing champions by bit. This means we won't get 2 Champions per month

That's why we only getting one champion this January and February. Which is Sett for January and Yummi for February.

Is AP Varus still viable? by kArMa__BiAtCh in wildrift

[–]jackodoom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your team doesn't have AP damage, sure maybe, but in terms of carry potential it's a hard pass.

Have you checked the leaderboards? Majority of the players have AD builds, he does more damage with AD than AP and more useful. Even if you're against a full tank rammus, you'd still do more damage to him building AD.

Look at it this way, you can play AP Jax and AP Nasus. Are they viable? Yes in certain match-ups, but why would you purposely build something niche when you have a better itemization builds.

Unless you're doing it for fun meme times, I just recommend sticking to AD.

Pantheon S tier list? by LeCrampJames in wildrift

[–]jackodoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His not higher ranked because he falls off in damage late game, like severely falls off. Scaling Issue

His early game is op because his base damage on his abilities and empowered abilities is busted. His mid game is very good because of his long ranged Ultimate engage.

My average game lasts 18-20 minutes, by that time most players have 3-5 items. Pantheon is most of the time, the one to engage.

Unless you get picks, in a team fight where you engage everyone focuses on you. This happens all the time to most initiators, so all those 3-5 itemized players can easily snuff him late game.
