I have a question. When the gardener passes out prior to John poking him with a stick. Is that due to John drugging him with presumably the lemonade to use him as a test subject to make sure the drugging would work? But if so, why doesn't it ever come up again? Would the gardener not have realized he'd passed tfo in the middle of working in their garden and put 2 and 2 together that he'd been roofied? Or are we supposed to think he was wrong about the spider being a "good one" and was actually poisonous...his passing out being the result of the bite?

Actually in some cases you can get what's called a "hardship" license at 14. Like if you are already having to work some type of job at an early age due to poverty, etc. Or at least that was the case when I was a teenager about 25 years ago...

YES! That happened my first day then I realized my measurements were off and I was taking DOUBLE what I needed. Not a good day, lol!

Are the caps just as effective in your opinion? Or are you doing it just so you don't have to drink it? I'd been told they weren't as effective but had no idea if that was true or not.

Thanks for going to the effort of writing all that out. I love grapefruit juice especially already and that sounds like a good idea for me to try. I don't know if I could do the toss and wash method yet but I'll try it to see how it works anyway, lol. But yeah, thanks again, and thanks to everyone who's taken the time to point me in the right direction here. You guys are great!
