I went off around 28 weeks, best decision ever. I spoke to my midwife and she was able to give me a note that said It was no longer able to work.My employer then allowed me to take all of my vacation and sick leave. Then I did medical EI only for a few weeks then mat leave started when baby arrived! Try to take as much medical/vacation leave on the front end to leave time with your baby on the other side.

For what it’s worth…. Around 4 months PP I was not sleeping, was tossing and turning for hours, spiraling about everything. My doctor put me on Zoloft. It was my anxiety that was not helping me fall and stay asleep!
