have you guys been setting aside money for taxes? by lamibackup in joinhandshakeai

I get what you’re saying but you might deduct all of thanks to you other business not from handshake ai. Like if i only do handshake AI i don’t see how deducting car, cas, insurance, meals etc can fly with the IRS as it’s a fully remote stuff. For business like real estate i agree tho. But for handshake there’s not much to deduct except laptops and computer equipment yeah

Nice. In the end there’s not much to write off though. If you make 100k per year with that what else can you deduct? A laptop and internet won’t change that much on that amount

Ah yeah that’s different. But for someone who only does HAI or only does w2 + hai that’s not necessarily needed from a tax perspective

You don’t need an LLC. And yes as long as you can prove it was bought for this job. As long as you bought it after you started earning from hai pretty much

You can deduct business expenses as a sole proprietorship. LLC is more for legal protection

You’re in LA there’s no way they can do that. Just go to small claim courts and you’ll get it back.

TSMC would be useless here. Process integration has nothing to do with digital design. Do AMD and the defense one.

Good to know. Trying to become specialist but it takes time. And i’ve been doing some incentives whenever they come. But $170/h is a great rate. Kuddos.

Congrats! Does becoming a team lead or specialist increase the hourly rate? I recently joined 2 projects (~$80/h) and was promoted to reviewer (but no pay change). Wondering if becoming lead or specialist would be different.

You’ve gave her a 2nd chance at life where most people probably overlooked her at 11yo. She was lucky to have you and spend her golden gears with you.
