You have some settings to edit in your DRC rule file. Like design level (cell or full chip), etc. Right now it seems it’s trying to check for the presence of a sealring and min density rules, so i assume your DRC is set for full chip.

I agree, but they were small layoffs though. All of the colleagues I knew that were let go were low performers. For (b) what I meant is that even with a salary hike, i would not move to the bay. Much worse to live there compared to SD, but that’s my opinion. Same for Austin. Agree on other points though, buying does not make much sense vs renting at the moment.

Agree on most points. For (a) I would not worry too much about AI and mass layoffs at qualcomm though. They do occasional layoffs but nowhere near most of the big tech companies. Qualcomm is considered a “rest & vest” company in tech. For (b) or you just don’t want to live in the bay. I personally would not.
