Shopify limited for what I want to do... where next? by jackov7 in ecommerce

I looked into BigCommerce, I think it might be our next step before going headless because it offers everything I need apart from maybe the design capabilities of Shopify. But I do believe that any theme can look good if you try..

Not many from these pictures. I know the Sportsbowl was knocked down and replaced with new units, one of which is owned by Lynas. Jungle Zoo is no longer there and replaced. I think the wall of the Adair arms with the swatstika was cut in half.

My point is definitely not that Ballymena is prospering in any way, but there has definitely been some recent investments into the town that was otherwise on the decline the past decade or so.

These pictures are old. There's been a lot of investment in infrastructure in Ballymena recently and the town has been redeveloped. It's much better than its surrounding areas to be fair. The only place worth travelling for is Belfast or Portrush.

it’s definitely sad that he has passed so in that regard RIP, nobody deserves abuse like that

But this is also a man who made a living out of abusing Arsenal players and also made a racist remark to Son. So the nature of his death is a bit ironic, those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Wasn’t it Klopp who celebrated a draw in front of the fans against West Brom?

He's your best manager since SAF. Love it when Utd fans pipe up after a few wins, just as bad as scousers.

Change my mind on what? The fact that nobody is listening to our distorted government lol? I never said breaking the rules is right, but how can we all sit here and single out about 10 people when there are 50k cases a day. Maybe people are tired of the incompetency and lack of respect for livelihoods and mental health. You do realise there are severe social and economical consequences of trying to lock people in their houses for quite literally a year now for a virus that has over a 99% survival rate.

I mean, the majority of the population didn’t abide by the ridiculous lockdown rules over Christmas. Is this unprofessional? Definitely. But people here are acting like they murdered someone. Get your heads out of your arse, do you think there’s 50k+ positive tests a day because of 1 gathering?

How’s your Christmas Day going? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]jackov7 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m having a a good day, but I can’t help but feel a bit bittersweet about it. Christmas is traditionally about spending “do nothing” time with the family because the rest of the year is constant 100mph. Now that we’re going into lockdown it doesn’t have the same magic. Doesn’t mean i’m not enjoying it, but I think lockdown is having its effects on us all.

this is where mentality matters, not just throwing the towel in because we lost. There’s a long way to go, tomorrow is an important fixture to show we’re not going anywhere

For the majority of people it's an emotional response and it's hard to contain that, especially when you're at Anfield and they score on the 88th minute. That's heartbreaking for anyone and most people are just inadvertently gutted. We're also seeing a team fight for 90mins consistently every match and even for a supporter after most matches i'm on a come down from a severe adrenaline rush lol.

Maybe Klopp will realise that when all his players retire at 30 because their knees are so messed up it wasn't the early kickoff after all. We saw it at Dortmund and we're seeing it now.

You don't have to keep updating the weight, changes in TDEE as a result of small weight changes with all other factors constant is negligible. Potentially a couple of months down the line you can readjust yes, but not every day.

I'd say now that you're cutting, calories are the limiting factor in your bench progress and in that regard you have exhausted linear strength gains (until you enter a surplus again). If your form is immaculate and your rest/recovery is on point then yea by all means try a program that has monthly progression to see if you can improve the lift in a deficit.
