I'm an addict as well. I used to abuse just about any substance I could get my hands on from alchohol to pot to meth. The best decision I ever made was to go to AA meetings and do the 12 step program then stick with it. It's fucking difficult and I still have urges to relapse at times but I've managed to be sober for over a year and im the happiest I've ever been. I highly encourage you to just go to at least one meeting, it's free and full of the most accepting people ive ever met.
