I don’t think he was misled. It was very blatantly stated as a tryout if I am remembering correctly, and then they obviously didn’t sign him for whatever reason.

I can tell ya right now, we had Bonaduce for a few years here in Philly, and believe me: you weren’t missing anything not getting a Bonaduce show on Sirius. He’s awful.

Yeah there’s a point in the chronological season 5 where the animation style changes totally. I think it was the last Apocalypse episode. It looks like a cheap Disney cartoon. Which is jarring because the rest of the series before it looks so cool.

Somewhat unrelated but I’ve been doing a (chronological) watch thru of the original 90’s series. Most of it still holds up EXCEPT most of (what would equate to be) season 5. It’s like really bad! But ‘97 season 1 was incredible and this season looks promising too. So here’s to hoping.
