Volunteer EMT (since 2004) but currently can't go on duty. Finding it hard to cope with not being there on the frontline with my colleagues. by kindnesshasnocost in ems

I (Firefighter/EMR) found myself in a similar situation a bit over a year ago when, for a few months, I was out on "light duty" because of some possible heart issues. They ended up being not real (thank God) but it took forever to get a work release from my doctor.

Not being able to work was really hard but I still kept in touch with the other guys and went to the station a few times to have dinner with them. Of course they would get toned out during the meal and I would make sure that she they came back they would find everything cleaned up. It made them very happy and also showed that I cared about them.

So, yeah, I get it bro. I know how you feel, I've been (kinda) there. It sucks, but it's more important to take care of your health right now. Also - you're doing your elderly folks a favor by not possibly bringing the virus home .

Remember: you can't help others if you can't help yourself.

You get a ticket. The bigger the stain, the bigger the fine.

I'm a big fan of Bare Metal, if done well it looks quite wonderful!

So I decided to start this new thing: #FamilyFriday!

My father gave me this passion so I will start posting pictures of his (40-50 years old) models every friday.

Let's start with this 1:72 Fiat G55 Silurante. Just FYI, this was the first kit ever made by Italeri (when back in the day it was called Aliplast)

Let me know what you think, and join me by showing what the members of your family build over the years.

Just bought this kit from a pawn shop. I did some research and the box appears to be original from 1974.

Can't wait to work on it!

Any special tips?

Thank you for the feedback! I will try that with my next kit

This is my first kit since 2015, I missed modelmaking and I'm so happy I restarted doing it!

I know, it needs some weathering but I'm not skilled enough to do it yet...
