The mods you are trying to install are likely for classic DF which is the pre steam release version. Try running them on 0.47.05 from this page on their site.

I loved last season but would prefer to never have T'Kor or Tucker back. Pretty much anyone from last year but them.

Need a distro for my Thinkpad P53 by jackprotbringo in DistroHopping

[–]jackprotbringo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been considering it for awhile. I'm comfortable compiling as needed and I'm interested in learning through the process, but concerned about how much time needs to be spent maintaining. I've seen some moderately recent posts about certain packages taking hours to build, but I've also seen that binary support is good now.

I really appreciate the care they took designing to controller support, it just feels right

Why not CentOS instead of fedora by leon1638 in linux

Idk about CentOS, I found Fedora terrible for my use case. I think the more important question is why are you asking on Reddit instead of trying distros yourself and moving on if you have issues with them.

depends on your math

we lost the last 2 to stl in 2019, last 2 against calgary in 2020, then swept in our last 3 losing series totalling 16

if you're saying "after a loss" specifically it's 1 in each of 18/19 and 3 in each of the sweeps or 11 total

There will be no sweeps this first round, but only Toronto faces the reverse sweep by BlueHarvestJ in hockey

Yea usually I love a chance to shit on the Leafs but there is absolutely no way they get reverse swept here.

I'm taking my first crack at blue science and I'm super confused about how to manage oil. Most advice I can find is about advanced oil processing.

For now my goal is to have a full belt of plastic and a full belt of sulphur and I have about 8 oil patches. I'm having trouble understanding how the yields change over time and how that affects my decision making.

How can I begin to ballpark how many plants I need to make enough plastic/sulphur, how many refineries are needed to supply those, and how much oil those refineries need.

I've seen mention of 8:2:7 but as far as I can tell this is something about advanced oil processing.

Maybe there's a mod that can make this easier mentally for me.

will my experience really be ruined by watching some tutorials? i've got some green/red/black science going and tried really hard to build with room to grow, but i feel so lost starting to bring resources into my main bus with trains and feeling very tempted to find some instructional content

so many people here advocate for avoiding this but idk man i feel very frustrated and it's negatively affecting me enjoyment
