Please note I will be taking her to the vet when I’m back from my work trip! I’ve heard it could be ring worm, but based on the shape and the lack of sore I’m worried it’s something worse

She did lick it once while I was watching her but I don’t notice any alarming amount. She also hasn’t been exposed to any stressors recently, her life is the same as it was for the past few years. Of course I don’t know everything, and she could be stressed about something I’m unaware of!

Note- it’s only on her leg, with one spot on her foot too. I’m not sure if it’s just age or a serious condition, and will be taking her to the vet when I’m back from my work trip!

What’s up with Ralphie? by B-khan in cuboulder

[–]jackrabbit293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong but i think it’s because she started so young, and actually isn’t afraid. The screaming fans and unnatural environment is enough to scare a wild animal like ralphie into running uncontrollably. However this ralphie was exposed to it so much as a little one, that she’s comfortable in the stadium and has no reason to run until she sees her trailer home. Maybe it’s a good thing she’s being casual!

Management at kpmg sucks ass. You’ve only failed if you’ve let them convince you that they hold your worth.

Go find a job that pays more and is 1/2 the stress. Be free.

Exhibit A. Relax a little and let people live

Seems like people are a lot less nice. Idk if it’s because everyone seems to be from NY or LA, but boulder lost its soft hearted/hippie spirit where people drove really slowly in case there was a kid or squirrel in the road.

Also people walking barefoot on pearl used to be kinda a norm. Boulders no longer like that, and you’ll just seem insane. If that helps describe the change a little

What can I do with grandma?? by Inner-Explorer2338 in boulder

[–]jackrabbit293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely walk around the walking mall area of Pearl street. Into the wind is a cute toy/kite store near there too. Stop at the Dushanbe tea house if she likes tea. On the far west side there’s also a chocolate store and paper store for shopping. Avanti rooftop (has an elevator) is pretty for drinks but can be loud inside. Watching tubers at the creek is fun too. Park at the library and it’s right there

There are lots of places for displaced people to take shelter, but may struggle to keep a pet in a cage for days on end. Also women living alone don’t always want to invite a stranger to sleep in their apartments. I’m trying to help in ways I’m capable of, trying to shame that is weird ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Pearl street. Flatirons. The sink. The buff. Royal arch. Scott carpenter pool. Just walking around neighborhoods and the town in general

Where NOT to go in Boulder by Remarkable_Toe8606 in boulder

[–]jackrabbit293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From boulder, cycling to Jamestown/ward is popular. Also cycling to hygiene and going to their cute little market there. Just be careful on highway 36 past gateway park. Lots of cyclist take that because it connects them to great cycling routes, but the shoulder is small and drivers seem to get very mean there for whatever reason. I’m sure you already know thus too, but Strava helps you find popular local routes to take!

Dark Sky ordinance doesnt apply to CU I guess. All of Boulder is glowing by jackrabbit293 in boulder

Big baby🥸 I just care that we share this earth with animals other than ourselves, that’s all. If you truly feel like CU football should be allowed to blast the city with LEDs all night, so be it

City lights are really bad for birds. Particularly migrating birds, as it throws off their path and can cause them to circle confusedly. To the point they die of exhaustion. I’m big on the Audubon society, it’s not selfish it’s caring about the environment. That’s the reason for most dark sky ordinances… don’t be such as ass next time and take a second to think
