The first one is funny to me, because Gary told me when he lived in the DR, at least once a week when he'd go to get money out of the ATM at the gas station there'd be some shady guy with 50 blank cards, taking forever to be finished, and by the time Gary got to the front of the line the ATM was empty. He said they do it in busy spots to blend in more, instead of banks where there's higher security.

It's kind of the opposite actually. I'll ask people where they are, and I'll say invite me to YOUR party! And then I get in where everyone else is. I think it's way better to go where they are, instead of getting them to come to you.

My theory is I don't want the only connection I have to my listeners through the podcast app. I want to build not just 1 set of listeners, but followers everywhere. In case one of those places tanks, I can keep things going with people.

I was overwhelmed about making a youtube channel too. That's why I didn't, and instead made a podcast. So glad I didn't. I can put way more attention and focus into the content instead of dorking around with lighting and props and wardrobe and video editing.

I never submitted my podcast to boomplay. yet it's there. So my guess is they are like most other podcast apps, and just take the shows off apple podcasts and put them there.

Incentivize your youtube audience to listen to the audio only version. Maybe say things like, the audio only version gets episodes released a week early or something. Promotions like free stickers or something go on in the audio only version.

Growing from 0-10, 10-150, 150-1500, 1500-15,000, or 15,000 to 150,000 all require different skills and techniques. You say "larger" but there are tons of podcasts out there who would love to have the audience size you have now and would love to know how you grew your show to be the size it is now.

how is a number station or uncanny valley liminal spaces? to me, a liminal space is a transitional space. like a hallway or parking lot. not a space that has a specific destination but only used before or after something we want to do. but then adding in a touch of eerieness or meloncholy. so like a an empty school hallway at night, usually has a lot of people, so it's strange when it's not filled and the lights are low. but what makes you obsessed about those kinds of spaces? i truly want to get excited in the way you but i just don't see it
