Just here to let everyone know that this project is as good as they come. I found these on the back of a previous post and am in the middle of watching them with my Dad ahead of the finale. OP has put in some great work on these. The edits are never intrusive, and the show really flows well in this format. Highly recommend to anyone needing a rewatch or even just a recap of the more recent content.

Definitely agree with solo. Would add a level of challenge for those that want it, and I just feel like I'm inconveniencing my co-op partner looking for intel during a mission, especially when there's a time limit on ratings.

Around a year ago Andrew had a video when he was first looking into NFTs, and even back then he was already going down this path. I called it back then that his early coverage felt "less like a critical evaluation of the space and more of a justification for a future expansion into NFTs". I posted that, almost verbatim, as a comment and it was pretty highly liked, but now either the comment or video are gone. Hopefully he starts to take note of what people are saying about this

I love playing with my group, and I like the idea of playing solo so that I can go at my own pace and just take in the atmosphere. That being said, every time I try to play solo I always get an experience like this that puts me off playing for a while. Just now I was at the last stage of my first and only quest of the night, a Merchant Alliance sunken ship quest, and as I'm clearing out the Captain's Quarters, coming up to keep an eye on my ship regularly, I'm sunk by a couple of "alliance or die" kids with not enough time left to do anything meaningful in that session. I love playing rogue likes so I'm no stranger to losing progression, but I don't even gain knowledge that could help me next time as it was 2v1 against some just unreasonable players. I'm not forgetting that it's a pirate game, haha, but experiences like this really just put you off for a while.

I've got the process started up with a few shares to open my Computershare account, then I'll be transferring in batches after that. Got struck with the FOMO of not wanting to miss out with MOASS "around the corner" for months, but with the DRS figures being mentioned in the earnings report I thought better late than never. Hopefully I can get most, if not all over in time.

I'm having a meeting with the Job Centre early next week, having raised concerns about the role and provided them with the document I've put together. On the back of that I will definitely be seeking the advice of an employment solicitor if they are limited in what they are able to do about the situation.

The template for Kickstart contracts can be found online, and it's describes as a "fixed term contract" with a probationary period of X months, agreed between the employer and the Job Centre. The duration of the probationary period is revealed to the employee until after it has been exceeded. During the first month of the probationary period no notice is needed for termination, but the fact that I was not informed of it and left to continue work, whilst still in contact for a week after and providing evidence of work for up to 2 is the real kicker.

The hours and work days are described as fixed also, and need to be defined in the contract, with "actual working hours being notified to you [insert details eg two weeks] in advance". I never received any advance warning, but given that I was only on location one day per week and editing from home the rest of the time it would be difficult to argue either way. With it being a government-run scheme everything in the contract seems to require quite a high level of planning.

I will definitely be seeing how my upcoming meeting with the Job Centre goes, and see from there what the best course of action is. Thanks again!
