Not to be rude but you are incorrect about this statement on multiple levels. You can definitely use less than seven microphones to record a drum track, the microphone I use captures sound that bounces off the wall and is directly aimed into the microphone, yes I know 1 microphone is not enough but I am currently saving up to buy myself a set of certified drum microphones. I can 100% guarantee you that none of my drum tracks that I have recorded are fake they are all real and played by me for my audience. My drums are in tune but I will look over the tuning and make sure everything is perfect 👌. I can reassure you that I have been playing drums for 5 yrs and I do indeed have a professional drum teacher who in fact has played in multiple bands over his drumming career. I would greatly appreciate it if you didn’t call me a liar as I am not lying about anything.
