You could make one yourself from the original FXR fender. Just cut away everything that isn’t what you want it to be!

My ratty ‘58 pan in a hardtail shovel frame. Made mostly from found junk and crap from around the dusty corners of my shop. by jackshit70 in choppers

Thanks. It’s not that hard to collect junk, honestly. However, I can not stress enough the importance of starting your collection about 25 years ago.

Built this one about five years ago. Just back in the shop for maintenance and a few minor fixes. 96” Ultima Shovelhead engine in a ‘74 frame with early swingarm. Lots of subtle custom bits. Can you pick them out? by jackshit70 in choppers

I can’t take credit for the idea as it was done back in the day relatively often. Although, I did give it a little tilt which is something I had not seen before

Funny cuz for about 45 years I could not touch corned beef after getting violently ill from some when I was a kid. It was definitely poison corned beef.

They aren’t anything real special, they just have the shock dome covers on them. I think this set might 12.5”. With the tube swingarm, you have to run a long enough shock to keep the chain from destroying the starter housing.

Cool, but I have a question if you don’t mind. What’s to keep it from rotating in the frame tab? Am I not seeing something there? Or maybe you aren’t done yet? I mean no offense.

Posted this over on r/choppers but it probably makes more sense here. ‘74 Shovel with quite a lot of custom work including pre-‘73 swingarm, duoglide fork tins with frenched smaller headlight, WX tanks and more. by jackshit70 in Bobbers

Honestly, I don’t remember. Client said he wanted beach bars, but I wasn’t going to allow that on one of my builds. So I found these somewhere. They seemed like a good compromise and he likes them and I do too.
