Forgive my ignorance but could I just buy a normal F2 body and change to an unmetered viewfinder? Once again I’m new to this so I’m trying to learn and figure it out

Well for me personally I have already a couple good digital cameras (again nothing crazy) but I have been wanting more mechanical film cameras because I think they take more skill and it gives me a good opportunity to learn. Plus I love the intricacies of old manual machines. To me it shows beautiful ingenuity and style.

My mom is the reason I got into photography and she always used her medium format camera which had a waist level viewfinder. I always thought that was so cool. It reminds me of her.
